Called about a bulging chimney I was worried about. They came quickly, assessed it honestly, and told me it needed a partial rebuild from the roofline. They were right, the brick above the roofline was in poor shape. The rebuild looks great and I feel much better about fire safety now.

The whole team pitched in to clean and repair the basement area, as well as the external areas where we had leaks, repointing the grout between bricks and parging the internal and external stone and brick walls. Additional repairs improved the cement stairs. This spring the brickwork below our bay window was found to be disintegrating, accelerated by freeze-thaw cycles. Mitch responded quickly to my request for an assessment and quote. He identified the underlying problem was the brick window sill allowing water to pass through to the bricks below. The solution was to replace the sill with impervious stone with a drip line.
